When we bought it, the house was a dilapidated two-bedroom home. Today it is a five-bedroom house with a chic interior that has a French flavour — and still belongs on its street.

We used local architects MKD Architects because they had an understanding of the area and could give the house a complete facelift while keeping its inner west character.

The renovated house features dual living areas — the main house, and a studio space that works perfectly as a home office or a granny flat — connected by a spiral stair tower.

We do a lot of work in the inner west, particularly in Annandale. We want what we build to maintain the character of the area, so we work hard to find the right architects: ones who let us bring a house to the highest standard without losing any of the qualities that make the inner west such a special place to live.
