Get a price before you lodge, not after
Every council has its idiosyncrasies. Our local knowledge helps with development applications — particularly in the eastern suburbs, the inner west and the northern beaches.
The earlier building clients come to us in the development application process, the more we can help.
The most common and most expensive mistake
A client submits a development application before getting even preliminary costs. The DA is approved. The project is finally costed — and the client cannot afford to build what has just been approved.
Submitting revised plans is costly. Architects often charge for the extra work on top, even though it was their plans that blew the budget.
It is worth getting a preliminary quote before submitting an application. A full costing can wait until after council approves.
