We review your specifications carefully and quote accordingly. A detailed quote is how a client and a builder check they have understood each other — and it is how you know you will get what you expected.

- The scope of the work
- Exactly what materials we will be using
- Where we understand the physical boundaries of the work area to be — if we are renovating your kitchen, we might need part of the garden to store materials, and you should know that before you agree
How to compare quotes properly
You should always get more than one quote for a building project. You should also make sure every builder is actually quoting for the same thing.
Ask each one whether the quote is for exactly the materials specified by your architect, engineer or interior designer, and whether any substitutions have been made that were never discussed with you. That single question separates the comparable quotes from the ones that only look cheaper.
We are happy to suggest ways to reduce the cost of a build. But any substitution will be something you know about and can take back to your architect, engineer or designer first.
