New build
A house in a garden
We bought the house next door, subdivided its substantial garden, and built a three-storey house on what was left — with a garage at the bottom of it, which in Rozelle is close to a miracle.
Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining room with a kitchen and a toilet. The dining and kitchen area opens onto a garden that runs down to the garage. The kitchen features Gaggenau appliances — cooktop, oven and dishwasher.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and a study, which the current owners use as a bedroom for their toddler. The layout includes a generous bathroom with a bath, a shower cubicle and a built-in laundry, and floor-to-ceiling cupboards run the full length of the landing.
The master bedroom on the third floor has a spectacular view of the city, a walk-in wardrobe, and a bathroom with twin showers and twin sinks.
“We saw the house when it was under construction and immediately made an offer. We had been looking in Rozelle for two years so we knew there was nothing else of this quality in the area. Every time you walked in a room or opened a cupboard, there was another feature. We could not be happier with it.”
